KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN MATEMATIS SISWA SMP DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MODEL ELICITING ACTIVITIES (MEAs) PADA MATERI RELASI DAN FUNGSI

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa SMP dalam pembelajaran Model Eliciting Activities (MEAs) pada materi Relasi dan Fungsi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskripsi dimana subjek penelitiannya berjumlah 30 orang dari Siswa-siswi Kelas VIII D SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya Utara. Data diperoleh dengan melakukan tes kepada siswa untuk mengukur kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa. Data hasil kemampuan penalaran didapatkan setelah mengerjakan soal tes. Soal tes diberikan setelah proses pembelajaran dengan MEAs dan mengacu pada indikator penalaran matematis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang belajar dengan pendekatan MEAs tergolong cukup

Students’ errors in solving climate change context mathematical modeling problems

This research is a descriptive study that aims to describe the errors of students of the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training (FKIP), Sriwijaya University, in solving Climate Change context mathematical modeling problems, to minimize errors made in solving mathematical modeling problems, especially in the context of climate change in the future. No one has researched student errors in solving mathematical modeling problems in the Climate Change context using the Newman error procedure. Data collection techniques used in this study included tests and semi-structured interviews. The data analysis technique used for test data is by analyzing errors using the Newman procedure. The results of this study with 52 participants were types of errors by FKIP Sriwijaya University in solving Climate Change context mathematical modeling problems as follows for question 1 and question 2, and respectively there were 23.1% and 15.4% errors in understanding the problem, 46.2% and 96.2% transformation errors, 32.7% and 96.2% writing. The causes of errors are errors in reading, errors in determining the problem and existing information, errors in making assumptions, errors in identifying variables, and errors in making mathematical models

PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MASALAH TERHADAP KECEMASAN DAN KEMAMPUAN PEMODELAN MATEMATIKA

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis eksperimen, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh PBM terhadap kecemasan dan kemampuan pemodelan matematika serta untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kecemasan dan kemampuan pemodelan matematika. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan angket kecemasan.Tes yang digunakan adalah soal uraian, sedangkan angket kecemasan matematika terdiri dari pernyataan-pernyataan  mengenai segala hal yang berhubungan dengan pembelajaran matematika. Berdasarkan analisis data dengan menggunakan    uji-t, gain kemampuan pemodelan matematika siswa yang memperoleh Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran matematika dengan model Konvensional. Dari hasil angket yang diberikan, didapat bahwa gain kecemasan matematika siswa yang memperoleh Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah tidak lebih rendah daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran matematika dengan model Konvensional. Sedangkan berdasarkan analisis data dengan uji korelasi product moment, bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara kecemasan dan kemampuan pemodelan matematika siswa

Pengembangan Lks Untuk Metode Penemuan Terbimbing Pada Pembelajaran Matematika Kelas VIII Di SMP Negeri 18 Palembang

The aim of this research are : (1) Producing the student worksheet for valid and practical guidance find method in math learning in the eighth class student in SMP Negeri 18 Palembang. (2) To know potential effect of the using student worksheet for guidance finder method to ability the eight class in SMP Negeri 18 Palembang. The research is developed learning practice plan, the student worksheet and the ability student test.This research use the development research method, and it contains analysis, design, evaluation and revision. The collecting data were used by observation and test. Observation use to analysis student activity along teaching learning process and the test use to analysis student ability. Subjects in this research are 40 students in the eight class in SMP Negeri 18 Palembang.The conclusion are: (1). the student worksheet are developed in this research is valid, practical and have potency effect for the student ability in the eighth class student in SMP Negeri 18 Palembang. (2). Prototype of the student worksheet is valid and practical. Valid were shown by validation evaluation that all validation result good base on content and construct and language. Practical were shown by every student can using the student worksheet good. (3) the student worksheet have potency effect to student ability. It were shown b the ability test result in good student ability level

Pembelajaran Operasi Perkalian melalui Permainan Tepuk Bergambar pada Siswa Tunagrahita Ringan di YPAC Palembang

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran operasi bilangan melalui permainan tepuk bergambar pada siswa tunagrahita ringan di YPAC Palembang. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII YPAC Palembang yang berjumlah 4 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah rekaman video dan observasi. Rekaman video dilakukan untuk mengamati kegiatan siswa selama proses pembelajaran dan membandingkannya dengan lembar observasi. Selama proses pembelajaran operasi bilangan melalui permainan tepuk bergambar, guru membantu siswa tunagrahita ringan menterjemahkan peristiwa penjumlahan berulang sebagai operasi perkalian. Sehingga, pada akhir pembelajaran, siswa bisa mengerjakan soal-soal yang diberikan.ABSTRACTThis qualitative descriptive research aims at describing the operation of number learning through picture clapping conducted to students with light mental retardation at Institute for physically and mentally handicapped children in Palembang. This study involves four students at the eighth grade as the subjects. Video recording and observation are undertaken to collect the data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil pembelajaran dimensi tiga dengan menggunakan pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI) di SMA Negeri 2 Tanjung Raja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian desain. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas X D yang terdiri dari 26 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui dokumen dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil tes, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa siswa lebih senang dengan pembelajaran dimensi tiga dengan menggunakan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia di SMA Negeri 2 Tanjung Raja. The Structure Of Algebraic Argumentation Of High School Students With The Toulmin Model

Mathematical argumentation is an important skill that must be owned in the 21st century. The purpose of the research is to analyze the structure of high school students' algebraic argumentation using the Toulmin model which consists of claim, data, warrant, and backing. This study involved 35 students in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year at Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang High School. The students were asked to provide algebraic argumentation in mathematical proofs related to the quadratic function theorem. The algebraic argumentation was then analyzed using the Toulmin model. The results showed that 20% of students' mathematical argumentation skills were at level 5; 57.14% of students' mathematical argumentation skills were at level 4; 20% of students' mathematical argumentation skills were at level 3; 2.86% of students' mathematical argumentation skills were at level 2; and no students were at level 1

PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATERI FUNGSI KUADRAT MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL INKUIRI TERBIMBING DI KELAS IX.4 SMP NEGERI 1 PALEMBANG

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa melalui penerapan  model inkuiri terbimbing pada pembelajaran matematika di Kelas IX.4 SMP Negeri 1 Palembang.  Prosedur pelaksanaan tindakan merupakan siklus kegiatan yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (c) observasi, dan  (d) evaluasi dan refleksi. Data yang diperoleh adalah hasil belajar yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh petunjuk bahwa terjadi peningkatan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar matematika siswa dari Siklus I sebanyak 48,07%, sedangkan pada siklus kedua jumlah siswa yang memenuhi criteria keberhasilan mencapai 76,67% dan pada siklus ketiga 93,36%. Oleh karena itu model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing ini dapat digunakan sebagai alternative bagi guru untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa SMP

Penggunaan Powerpoint Game Pada Pembelajaran Lingkaran Di Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Raja

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan, motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Lingkaran dengan menggunakan PowerPoint Games dikelas VIII.1 SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Raja. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, angket dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan PowerPoint Games terlaksana dengan sangat baik dari segi kegiatan guru dan kegiatan siswa. Selain itu penggunaan PowerPoint Games dapat memotivasi siswa, dari 24 siswa terdapat 19 siswa memiliki motivasi sangat tinggi (79,17%) dan 5 siswa memiliki motivasi tinggi (20,83%). Setelah menggunakan PowerPoint Games ketercapaian ketuntasan siswa untuk ranah sikap, keterampilan dan pengetahuan memiliki rata – rata persentase >80% dengan penilaian berpedoman pada kurikulum 2013
